Speak out about copyright!

On September 29, 2011, the Canadian government tabled Bill C-11 (the Copyright Modernization Act). This bill will have an impact on how Canadians access online content. Some parts of it are contentious—lately we at OpenMedia.ca have been hearing concerns from the pro-Internet community about the bill, and about copyright in general.

While this not an issue OpenMedia.ca is active on right now, we believe public policy is always best when informed by citizen input. We're providing this online tool because we want to enable Canadians to voice their views on copyright.

If you want to have a say about copyright in Canada, use the form to the right to send a message to the Prime Minister's office, Heritage Minister James Moore, and Industry Minister Christian Paradis. >>>
