Fresh Media is a celebration of innovation and independent media, and a re-imagining of media and journalism in Canada. Our basic objectives are:

1. To ignite a national conversation to re-imagine media and journalism in Canada.

2. To celebrate the exciting and innovative experiments in independent and public media currently underway.

3. To develop a crowd-sourced plan to support innovative and quality media and independent journalism.

FreshMedia runs the ReMixiology event series, where media innovators and social change makers mix up a concoction of social-change media awesomeness

Our last event, "Hit Refresh - Taking Media to the Street," explored ways to re-imagine public space using media, in order to promote critical thinking and civic engagement.
