Rogers Customer Care Rep publicly states that Rogers "is a terrible cell phone company".
Today on the online forum Reddit, a Rogers Wireless Customer Care Representative publicly stated that Rogers "is a terrible cell phone company". Canadians pay some of the highest cell phone prices in the industrialized world, for some of the worst service. Even those inside Big Telecom are going public with their complaints! Looking at the thread we can see Canadians both inside and outside Big Telecom recognize the problems with telecom service in this country, and want to see it fixed.
There were a variety of posts detailing how little choice Canadians have in the telecommunication market. Check out this response from SilverSeven about this lack of choice:
This is clearly not a situation that benefits Canadians—it is a situation that disadvantages Canadians, forcing them to choose between similar plans, for similarly expensive prices, for similar customer service treatment. Canadians do not deserve this—we deserve choice.

Others inside Big Telecom also came out to express their frustration with the way Big Telecoms like Rogers provide service to their customers:
After listening to Big Telecom’s comments at the CRTC hearing on the national cell phone rules and hearing how out of step they are with many Canadians, this last post from thisisntmycomputer1 wonders why those in touch with customers and customers themselves are not the ones making the rules to protect Canadians.
Currently, three companies own 94% of the telecommunication market. That leaves few options for Canadians. We don’t deserve this—we need more choice in Canada’s wireless market, not less. Demand choice for the future of Internet access at http://DemandChoice.ca
